HBO is getting a look at the next episode of Watchmen that’s set to arrive with “If You Don’t Like My Story, Write Your Own,” which is scheduled for a November 10th, 2019 debut. The 4thepisode of the 1st season, it’s directed by Andrij Parekh based on the story by Damon Lindelof & Christal Henry.
The cast includes Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson and Louis Gossett Jr., Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith, and Adelynn Spoon.
The original comic was written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons.
Original Concept: In an alternate world where the mere presence of American superheroes changed history, the US won the Vietnam War, Nixon is still president, and the cold war is in full effect. WATCHMEN begins as a murder-mystery but soon unfolds into a planet-altering conspiracy. As the resolution comes to a head, the unlikely group of reunited heroes—Rorschach, Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, Dr. Manhattan, and Ozymandias—have to test the limits of their convictions and ask themselves where the true line is between good and evil.
