The fall 2019 anime adaptation of Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle is getting its home video releases handled by Pony Canyon. The twenty-five episode series is being done as a nine-volume release with varying prices across it as well as both limited editions and regular editions beginning on November 20th, 2019. Check the full schedule below for dates and known extras. The price ranges include:
- – v1 to v2 BD LEs: 6000yen + tax each; v3 to v8 BD LEs: 7500yen + tax each; v9 BD LE: 8500yen + tax
- – v1 to v2 BD Regs: 4700yen + tax each; v3 to v8 BD Regs: 5500yen + tax each; v9 BD Reg: 6300yen + tax
- – v1 to v2 DVD LEs: 5000yen + tax each; v3 to v8 DVD LEs: 6500yen + tax each; v9 DVD LE: 7500yen + tax
- – v1 to v2 DVD Regs: 3800yen + tax each; v3 to v8 DVD Regs: 4500yen + tax each; v9 DVD Reg: 5200yen + tax
The twenty-five episode series will have the first three episodes recompiling the story of “episodes 1-3” of the original game. The series is directed by Masaki Tachibana based on the series composition by Hiroshi Ohnogi. Shinpei Koikawa is handling the character designs while GONZO is handling the animation production with Felix Film working on the 3DCG.
The Japanese cast includes Daisuke Ono as Ash, Hiro Shimono as Afin, Satomi Satou as Matoi, Megumi Ogata as Xion, Ryohei Kimura as Zeno, Yōko Hikasa as Echo, Takahiro Sakurai as Luther, Nobuo Tobita as Gettemhart, and Kana Hanazawa as Melphonshina.
Aimee Blackschleger will perform the opening song “Destiny” while the ending theme song “Timeless Fortune” is performed by Mika Arisaka.

Plot Concept: With the advent of Photon technology, the spacefaring Oracle fleet searches for new planets to explore. They combat the Falspawn, abominations that consume all life in their path, with the fearless heroes of the ARKS organization. When his graduation ceremony is crashed by a Falspawn attack, young Cadet Ash realizes that he’s just been thrust in the middle of a universal-scale conflict.
