The newest information on the ratings has come in that focuses on the Toonami block from this past Saturday night. With plans for Dragon Ball Super to depart as other shows are coming on soon, including fresh My Hero Academia, the Toonami block is largely delivering what I’d hoped for; new shows out of Japan from within the last six month. One-Punch Man saw a gain of about 120,000 over last week while Dr. Stone went up about 30,000 viewers. Fire Force sadly dropped 10,000 but that’s mostly statistical noise.
Food Wars climbed about 14,000 viewers over last week while Demon Slayer went from 329,000 viewers to 277,000 viewers. Oof.
And as a premiere, the latest season of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure kicked off with Golden Wind at 251,000 viewers at 2:30 am.
Most of the other more recent shows are about on average with the week prior by 10-20,000 viewers or so.
