The Pop Team Epic anime series had its broadcast run with a twelve-episode run and then brought out a pair of specials. The property as a whole got a wide release for streaming previously through the subscription-based services and now the series has found its way to the ad-supported side. Tubi TV has brought out both the TV series and the specials to their service in its original Japanese language with English subtitles.

The show was animated by Kamikaze Douga with King Records producing it. The original work is a webmanga that began in 2014 as a four-panel project. The first series ended in late 2015 and a second kicked off in early 2016.

Plot Concept: Crude, rude, and a little…cute? Get ready for the larger-than-life attitude of Popuko and Pipimi, the small and tall stars of Pop Team Epic. Based off the popular four-panel webcomic comes a bizarre comedy filled with plenty of absurdity!
