Seven Seas Snags ‘My Senpai is Annoying’ Full-Color Manga Series Rights

Seven Seas Entertainment has a new manga series on the horizon with the acquisition of My Senpai is Annoying by Shiro Manta. The full-color series was originally serialized in Comic Pool magazine for Ichijinsha which began in 2018 and is ongoing with four volumes released in Japan so far.

Seven Seas will publish the manga series for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in single-volume color editions in a large trim size. The first volume will be released on May 5th, 2020 for $14.99 USA / $18.99 CAN.

Plot Concept: Igarashi is a hardworking young office lady. Takeda, the senpai above her at work, annoys her constantly–and yet she finds herself growing closer to him. Every day is filled with comic mishaps and romantic moments as Igarashi tries to balance work, life, and love. This full-color manga–which started its life as a webcomic–is sure to charm audiences of workplace comedies like Aggretsuko and The Office!
