Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):
Okamon has confessed, but now how does Hana let Okamon know she doesn’t like him in that way. She spends a few awkward days trying to figure out how to talk to Okamon, because she knows for sure she likes Takane. She gets a bit of advice from Takane, but he doesn’t what the topic is actually about. Hana faces Okamon and their friendship survives, but Takane finds out that Okamon told Hana he loved her, and now Takane is sure that means Hana is going to dump him.

When Takane is acting stranger than normal, Hana brings him to karaoke to help distract him. Takane is sure Hana brought him out to break up with him. So, when she doesn’t say anything, he takes the initiative and suggest they break off their arranged partnership. Hana is shocked and hurt by the suggestion. Takane tries to explain that she would be better off with some her own age. She runs out, and Okamon sees her. Okamon confronts Takane and clarifies that Hana dumped him, not Takane, and if he wants to let Hana go, he’ll be happy to take Hana away from him. Takane goes after Hana and they argue out the situation and go home, but Hana is positive that Takane does not have the same feelings for her as she does for him.

Nicola drops by for a visit and reminisces about Takane in college. Nicole than gives concert tickets to Hana and her friends, and Takane tags along, because he has nothing else to do. Going to a boy band concern puts Takane in unfamiliar territory. Hana finds herself thinking and looking at Takane more than the boy band and that makes her feel overwhelmed. When they are able to go backstage, Takane takes the backseat and lets Hana and her friends have fun. When Hana asks Takane why he even came, he stated it was because he wanted to learn more about the things she likes.

The last chapter is about Takane’s birthday and summer break. The whole Nonomura family has a party for him and go all out eating and drinking. Hana gives him a phone case as a present. In his drunken state, he says he wishes she fit in the palm of his hand and gives her kiss on the tip of her nose. A small bonus comic is included where Takane and Hana have a body switch.

In Summary:
Once again, kudos to the creator, for addressing the large gap and keeping the romance very age-appropriate. There is just enough humor, emotions and plot to keep the story moving along nicely. Currently, this is one of the few series that I look forward to reading each time. Even though it’s kind of a high school romance, it’s way different and interesting enough to really hold my interest. I would like an anime of this, please!
