The return of Bananya was welcome with this new season as I liked that they changed things up so we’re not in the kitchen but rather a whole other cat-world. With some UFOs in the sky, the gang investigates it only to find lots of treats that they call mewoteors, basically gifts that they bring back for everyone to enjoy. Amusingly, there’s an elder bananya that they take everything to in order to get a kind of blessing of sorts to engage with which just plays out in an adorable fashion as it’s a doddering style old bananya. The treats all have different effects on the gang, such as some really spicy ones, and watching the reactions is a delight as it takes them down one by one – such as the wasabi!
In Summary:
You know what you’re getting with a show like this and this episode doesn’t disappoint. It’s a fun little bit of silliness and nonsense that while maybe not the best thing to binge on when the season is done but is something that’s a cute break during the week to put on for a couple of minutes. I continue to like the setting change and the addition of new characters is only going to delight as it progresses.
