We learned in early August about a new short being lined up for the fall season with the October 2nd, 2019 debut of Urashimasakatasen no Nichijo. With having landed, the official site and partner NBCU Japan is now streaming the opening sequence. Check it out below!

Crunchyroll has announced their pickup of it as Days of Urashimasakatasen. They’ll be simulcasting it the same day with a 10:00 am ET debut. Availability for it is set for viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.

The Tokyo MX series comes from director Kakeru Ikeuchi working from the series composition by Hiroki Uchida. Sayumi Yokoyama is handling the character design adaptations with GAINAX Kyoto handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Senra as Senra, Shima as Shima, Tonari no Sakata as Tonari no Sakata, and Uratanuki as Uratanuki.

Check out the official site and Twitter.

Plot Concept: School life — it’s an experience that everyone should have, and no one should take for granted. Of course, everyone knows that the most enviable way to spend high school is as the most popular person in class.

Transfer student Urata has decided that his high school debut will be brilliant, and as he reaches nervously for the door — it happens. In his way stand fellow high school students Shima, Sakata, and Senra! Are they enemies? Allies? Or something else entirely?!

This heart-pounding transfer school youth story is about to begin!
