Crunchyroll Schedules ‘Blackfox’ Feature Film Anime Premiere

We learned back at AnimeJapan 2018 that Studio 3Hz revealed had an original anime project coming up with Blackfox. With it set as a theatrical feature, Crunchyroll previously revealed that they’re involved in it as a co-production. They hosted its world premiere at Crunchyroll Expo and now they’ve set some streaming plans for it. The Japanese theatrical release is set for an October 5th, 2019 debut and Crunchyroll will time it in the US with an October 4th, 12:00 pm ET premiere for it. It also looks like we’re getting a 24-minute preview tomorrow for it at noon. Crunchyroll has the rights to it worldwide excluding Asia, France, Germany, Italy, and Russia. Kazuya Nomura is directing the work with Naoki Hayashi handling the scripts. Atsushi Saito is listed as the character designer.
