Second ‘Frozen 2’ Formal Trailer Arrives

2 min read
The film is set for a November 22nd, 2019 debut.

With a teaser and the first main trailer out there previously, generating a good bit of interest, the second full trailer has arrived for Frozen II. This one continues the expansion overall on the property with more of the world and characters out there and playing up some good character bits as well with their personalities. The film is set for a November 22nd, 2019 debut.

The 2013 film Frozen was a massive success as it brought in $1.276 billion on its $150 million budget and spawned a lot of spinoff material in the years since. It moved merchandise unlike a lot of other projects and it also delivered a soundtrack that was just everpresent for quite a long time. For me, I was caught up in the Japanese release of it as I found the dub and songs done there to be hauntingly beautiful.

Directed by Chris buck and Jennifer Lee, the screenplay was written by Jennifer Lee and Allison Schroeder. The cast includes Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, Josh Gad as Olaf, Evan Rachel Wood, and Sterling K. Brown.

Original Concept: Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.
