The Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san anime adaptation of the manga by Rimukoro got underway on Funimation this past spring as The Helpful Fox Senko-san. Funimation is now doing some promotion with a new clip out from the early part with Senko using her fox fire in order to cook the food, which gives it an extra little touch.
The series has Jad Saxton directing with Morgan Garrett while Kristen McGuire is working on the scripts for it. The main dub cast includes Kristen McGuire as Senko, Aaron Campbell as Nakano, Kristin Sutton as Shiro, Hayden Daviau as Kōenji, and Dawn M. Bennett as Yozora.
Availability for it is set for viewers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.
Tomoaki Koshida is directing based on the series composition by Yoshiko Nakamura. Miwa Oshima is handling the character designs with animation produced at Doga Kobo.
The Japanese cast includes: Azumi Waki as Senko, Junichi Suwabe as Nakano, Maaya Uchida as Shiro, Ayane Sakura as Kōenji, and Eri Kitamura.
The manga began in 2017 on the Comic Newtype site and has three print volumes published so far.
