The Shin Sakura Taisen game is inspiring a manga series from Koyori Noguchi that kicked off this week in Weekly Young Jump magazineand it’s also going to get an anime out there as well. With the a game set for a debut in spring 2020 in the west, the new anime series will be directed by Manabu Ono based on the serie scripts from Tatsuhiko Urahata along with Ono.
The main game cast will reprise their roles, as expected, with Ayane Sakura, Yōhei Azakami, Maaya Uchida, Hibiku Yamamura, Ayaka Fukuhara, Saori Hayami, and Michie Tomizawa

Game Concept: The game will take place in the 29th year of the fictionalized “Taisho” period of the franchise in the capital of Tokyo, taking place 12 years after Sakura Wars V.
