The folks at ICv2 have pulled together the NPD BookScan Top 20 Adult Graphic Novels list that deals with data from August 4th through the 31st of this year. As has been the case for most of this year, manga dominates it once again but there’s a good bit more variety this month as it’s not just the My Hero Academia show. Six volumes of the property charted compared to the ten or so last month but Viz Media takes twelve of the top twenty spots overall. Komi Can’t communicate is on the chart for the third month in a row with a second volume now charting as well, which gives it some real potential. Jojo’s shows up this time as well as more One Piece and The Promised Neverland. Kodansha Comics gets to step in with Attack on Titan.
No titles from DC Comics or Marvel Comics charted this month.
Image Comics scores a slot for The Walking Dead while First Second Books has two slots with The Adventure Zone doing well.
