It was all the way back on August 26th, 2017 that we got the premiere of the One Piece – Episode Of East Blue: Luffy And His Friends? Great Adventure special in Japan and we’re finally closing in on the home video release for it in North America. Australian fans, however, have a little bit longer of a wait as Madman Entertainment has now scheduled it for a December 4th, 2019 debut. The show is being released as separate DVD and Blu-ray editions. The bilingual set clocks in at 107 minutes and features one extra with the One Piece: The Journey and the Legacy look. It’s priced at $29.95 for the DVD and $34.98 for the Blu-ray.
The special is being directed by Takashi Otsuka based on the script by Tomohiro Nakayama. Masayuki Sato is handling the character designs and serving as the chief animation director.
