Discotek Media made their acquisition of the 2012 series Kyousougiga back in 2015 and worked through the home video release side previously. It’s been largely quiet since then, however, that’s now changing as the Midnight Pulp streaming service has added it to their site. It’s in its original Japanese language with English subtitles here.

You can check out our reviews and discussions about the series here as we covered it as it streamed on Crunchyroll.

The ONA series aired in the fall 2013 series and ran for ten episodes with Toei Animation producing it. Overall direction was done by Rie Matsumoto with series composition by the original creator Izumi Toudou, scripts by Miho Maruo and character designs by Yuuki Hayashi.

Plot concept: Hidden within Kyoto is the “mirror capital” where youkai and humans live together and no one ever dies. It is protected by three people—Kurama, Yase, and Myoue—as they await the return of their parents, Myoue Jonin and Koto. One day, a young girl named Koto (same name, different spelling) and her little brothers A and Un wander into the city from a different dimension looking for her mother. A mecha-geek with red eyes, it’s not immediately clear whether she’s human or youkai. Her arrival upsets the long peace that had ruled the city.
