TMS Entertainment has brought one of my favorite projects of all time to Amazon with the Panda! Go Panda! releases. The episodes are released as one set in its English-dubbed form where you can rent it in HD for $3.99 or buy it in HD for $9.99. It was originally released in North America by Geneon Entertainment and then rescued by Discotek Media with a DVD release.
Disney Japan las brought this out with a July 17th, 2015 release for the two episodes that were made on both DVD and Blu-ray. The DVD is priced at 4,700 yen and the Blu-ray at 5,800 yen. Both releases will include Japanese and English language tracks as well as Japanese and English subtitles. Extras for the release look to be the theater notice, storyboards done as picture in picture as well as material from the Miyazaki exhibition.
Plot concept: Cheerful Mimiko has a very strange family for a little girl – a panda for her papa, and his son, Panny, calls her Mom! Join this happy family and their many adventures!
