The first season of Seizei Ganbare Mahou Shoujo Kurumi landed as part of the summer 2017 season but was one of a few shows that didn’t get picked up for a simulcast. With that season having come and gone and the second season set to wrap up its broadcast, the home video side has been set. A second season box set is scheduled for a November 6th, 2019 release where it’s Blu-ray-only and priced at 6,000 yen, just like the first season.
The series was directed by Keisuke Matsumoto with character designs by Wataru Uekusa. Pie in the Sky handled the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Yuu Hayashi as Kiyoshi Suzuki, Wataru Hatano as Isamu Takahashi, Takuma Terashima as Shigeru Satou, Yurika Kubo as Kurumi Azuchimomoyama, Seki Futoshi as Ankoku Daimeijin, Keisuke Matsumoto as Devilun, Nozomi Yamamoto as Prima Spring Green, and Lynn as Prima Enji.
The first season had the opening theme song “Girls Only Miracle!” performed by Mia Regina while Yuu Hayashi, Wataru Hatano, and Takuma Terashima performed the ending theme song “Shiritsu Egaogaoka Chūgakkō Kōka.”
Plot concept: Kurumi Azuchimomoyama is a normal 14 year-old who attends Shiritsu Egaogaoka Junior High School. One day, she was chosen by Tasmania Devil type angel “Devi-run” to become one of Bishoujo Mahou Shoujo Kyouryuu Tenshi Senshi (Pretty Magic Girl Dragon Angel Warrior) “Prima Angel” to fight against Ankoku Hoems. Kurumi purges the evils one by one using the weapons that tainted with blood gradually, and there are three guys (main characters) who observe her without doing anything.
