Bandai Visual is following a pattern set when they started doing Blu-ray over a decade ago with specific titles hitting the 4K UHD format. With last year seeing the release of the Mobile Suit Gundam F91 feature film, they’re now making the standard Blu-ray edition that came out a few years prior to this more affordable. The priced-down Blu-ray edition is set for a September 26th, 2019 release priced at 3,800 yen and we now have the finalized look at the packaging and main artwork for it, which is a nice upgrade. It’ll include English subtitles like the prior edition.
On-disc extras include the trailer, special information in both Japanese and English, TV commercials, and a promotional video. The set will also come with a 100-page book of storyboards and sketches.
