Second ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ Trailer Arrives

2 min read

With Terminator: Dark Fate set for an October 31st, 2019 debut, it’s no surprise that we’re getting some new trailers about now with the potential for a final trailer in early October. This trailer drop brings us two pieces to check out with it that definitely clean up a number of aspects of the first trailer where it was clear that a lot of the CGI just wasn’t ready yet.

The film has Tim Miller directing based on the screenplay by David Goyer, Justin Rhodes, and Billy Ray, which features story material from James Cameron. The film is working with a budget between $160 million and $200 million with Paramount hoping that Cameron’s involvement will help bring back the fans that have drifted off over the years.

The cast includes Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Arnold Schwarzenegger as T-800 “Model 101”, Mackenzie Davis as Grace, Stephanie Gil as young Grace, Gabriel Luna as a liquid metal Terminator, Natalia Reyes as Dani Ramos, Diego Boneta as Miguel Ramos, Enrique Arce, and Jude Collie as John Connor.

Plot Concept: 27 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a new, modified liquid metal Terminator (Gabriel Luna) is sent from the future by Skynet in order to terminate Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), a hybrid cyborg human (Mackenzie Davis), and her friends. Sarah Connor comes to their aid, as well as the original Terminator, for a fight for the future.
