GKIDS Streams New Dubbed ‘PROMARE’ Anime Feature Trailer With Cast List

The May 24th, 2019 release of the Promare film from Studio Trigger in Japan went over well and GKIDS picked up the rights to it with NYAV Post working on the dub as we speak. GKIDS and Fathom Events have both brought out quick-hit teases for the film but now GKIDS has rolled out a new nearly two-minute newly dubbed trailer for the film to draw attention to their release of it next month.

In addition to that, they brought out the cast list:

  • Johnny Yong Bosch as Lio Fotia
  • Crispin Freeman as Kray Foresight
  • Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld as Aina Ardebit
  • John Bentley as Varys Truss
  • Steven Blum as Ignis Ex
  • Melissa Fahn as Biar Colossus
  • Neil Kaplan as Vulcan Haestus
  • Erica Lindbeck as Heris Ardebit
  • Yuri Lowenthal as Meis
  • Matthew Mercer as Gueira
  • Mike Pollock as Deus Prometh
  • Billy Bob Thompson as Remi Puguna
  • Kari Wahlgren as Lucia Fex

They’re planning a two-night event on September 17th (dubbed) and 19th, 2019 (subtitled) for it and then will open it in select theaters on September 20th, 2019. You can get tickets now and see the locations list as PromareMovie.com.

Hiroyuki Imaishi is directing it working with writer Kazuki Nakashima while Shigeto Koyama is on board for the character designs and mechanical designs. Sanzigen Animation studio handling the animation for it.

The Japanese cast now includes Ken’ichi Matsuyama as Galo Thymos, Taichi Saotome as Lio Fotia, Masato Sakai as Kray Foresight, Ayane Sakura as Aina Ardebit, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Remi Puguna, Tetsu Inada as Varys Truss, Mayumi Shintani as Lucia Fex, Rikiya Koyama as Ignis Ex, Ami Koshimizu as Ellis Ardebit, Taiten Kusonoki as Vulcan Hastus, Nobuyuki Hiyama as Gera, Katsuyuki Konishi as Mace, and Ryoka Yuzuki as Biar Colossus.
