Originally set for the fall 2019 season, the anime adaptation of Yako Gureishi’s manga Somali to Mori no Kamisama has updated with a bit of news. The show was recently delayed to a January 2020 debut as part of the winter season but as that’s now getting closer the official site has dropped a new promo and a new key visual for it, both of which you can see below. The series is directed by Kenji Yasuda with character designs by Ikuko Ito. Satelight is handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Inori Minase as Somali
- Daisuke Ono as Golem
- Hiroki Nanami
- Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Yabashira
- Saori Hayami as Uzoi
- Yuuki Ono as Haitora
The manga from Yako Gureishi began in 2015 as serialized in Web Comic Zenyon. It has five volumes out as of the announcement.
