Netflix announced a new ten-episode prequel series for The Dark Crystal called Age of Resistance back in 2017 directed by Louis Leterrier. The series will take place many years before the original film and was shot in the UK using state-of-the-art creatures created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop and Brian Froud, the original feature’s conceptual designer.
With Netflix having recently set an August 30th, 2019 debut for the series, we’ve had a few teasers and trailers. now, a new piece that comes in at just under three minutes shows off various small moments from it while also talking with some of the actors and production side people. The cast includes Taron Egerton as Rian, Anya Taylor-Joy as Brea, and Nathalie Emmanuel as Deet. Check out the first images below.
