It’s been 10 long years since their legendary love swept the field like a hurricane!

Fans of the Peach Girl property got a new series back in 2016 as original creator Miwa Ueda returned to the property with Peach Girl Next. The series focused on the events ten years after the ending of the series as we get to see how these twenty-seven-year-old characters deal with everything. The seventh volume was released this weekend and within it, it was revealed that the eighth volume that arrives in January 2020 will be the end of it, so the series should be wrapping up soon with its serialization.

Sadly, the original manga was published by TOKYOPOP and is out of print but Kodansha Comics did bring it back digitally last year.

The manga Miwa Ueda that ran in Bessatsu Friend from 1997 to 2003 for eighteen volumes total. The anime adaptation originally aired back in 2005 and was one of the earlier non-action/shounen shows that Funimation picked up. The series was animated by studio Nomad and Comet.

Plot concept: It’s been 10 long years since their legendary love swept the field like a hurricane. At 27 years old, Momo, Kairi, Toji, and Sae are back! Momo and Kairi are at the peak of their relationship, but still not married?! The pressure is on! Sae can’t stand to see this couple happy, and she won’t stand for it! Touji also seems to already have a shadow hanging in his past after becoming an adult… What happened? Get ready for this love train to move full-steam ahead once again!
