The spring 2019 anime adaptation of Katsuwo’s manga series with Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu is getting its home video releases handled by Kadokawa and they’ve set a solid schedule for it. The twelve-episode series is getting a four-volume release that began on July 24th, 2019 and now Kadokawa is showing off the full packaging look at the artwork for the third volume due out on September 25th, 2019. The DVDs are priced at 8,000 yen each while the Blu-rays are priced at 9,000 yen each. Check the full schedule below!
The show has Takebumi Anzai set to direct it with Jukki Hanada handling the series composition. Kii Tanaka is on board as the character designer and chief animation director with studio C2C handling the animation production.
The previously announced Japanese cast includes Chisaki Morishita as Bocchi Hitori, Minami Tanaka as Nako Sunao, Akari Kitō as Aru Honshō, Yūko Kurose as Rakita Sotoka, Kana Ichinose as Kako Kurai, Konomi Kohara as Kai Yawara, and Minami Takahashi as Teruyo.
The original manga began in 2013 from Katsuwo and has four volumes released so far as serialized in Comic Dengeki Daioji.

Plot Concept: Hitori Bocchi, a girl with extreme social anxiety, has had only one friend throughout elementary school. When Bocchi learns they’ll be split up after graduation, she makes a promise to her: “By the time of my middle school graduation, I’ll make friends with everyone in my class.” And if she can’t do it… they won’t be friends anymore?! But Bocchi has a hard time talking to people. When she gets nervous, her legs cramp. She can’t look other people in the eye. She doesn’t even know how to make friends! Every way she thinks of to make friends ends up failing. Will Bocchi’s friend-making plan pay off?! It’s a story of the persistence of the lonely girl, Bocchi!
