Tubi Streams The ‘Dagger of Kamui’ Anime Feature Film

Tubi TV has added a great film to its streaming side with the classic Dagger of Kamui. The feature film was originally released decades ago by AnimEigo and it’s great to have it streaming on another service for modern fans to be able to sample some classic material. The film is in its original Japanese language with English subtitles here.

The 1985 film was directed by Rintaro based n the screenplay by Mori Masaki as they adapted Tetsu Yano’s novel. Moribi Murano handled the character designs with Takuo Noda as the animation director with Madhouse handling the production.

The Japanese cast includes Hiroyuki Sanada as Jiro, Mami Koyama as Oyuki, and Tarô Ishida as Tenkai.
