The sixth season of Agents of SHIELD wrapped up by sending the cast back in time, which is only going to make things more complicated as it progresses. The seventh and final season is set to hit next summer and it looks like we might be in for a real treat. Its still considered unconfirmed as no official announcement has been made, but it looks like Hayley Atwell, aka Agent Carter, will make an appearance in the season. With Atwell’s character of Peggy Carter instrumental to SHIELD over the years, it’s a great way to close out the season with her involvement on even a small level. We’re hoping for it to be a bit bigger than small, however.
The series stars Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Agent Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons and Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie.
