The final main episode of the season has the trio hanging out together looking at travel magazines as they plan for a trip together but struggle with the cost of it. Or at least some of them do as money isn’t the easiest thing to come by. While one wants a trip to Europe, another suggests a hot spring trip and playing at being tourists and the like. There’s even talk of going as far as Okinawa and Taiwan. It’s fun to listen to the dialogue between them as they argue in their own way as good friends while trying to come up with a plan for the time they want to spend together. It’s a cute and light piece that gives s a great montage series of stills at the end with the trip they do go on which is just beautifully photogenic all while giving the tights proper attention.
In Summary:
Miru Tights is a beautifully animated project that plays to a fetish in a way that’s surprisingly respectful considering what it could have been like. The details are fantastic, the attention given to layouts is great, and it was a fun time just hanging out with these characters beyond that as well. It’s of limited appeal to be sure but everything was done wonderfully right here that I hope it finds its way overseas in home video form as well as I’d love to revisit this regularly to enjoy on multiple levels. It’s short and sweet with a great dose of sex appeal.
