DC Universe is working through the second half of the Young Justice: Outsiders chapter of the larger property which is the third season overall. Thankfully, it looks like we might not have to wait years for more as during the DC Universe panel last night at SDCC, it was revealed that a fourth season is already in production. No dates or details were given regarding it beyond that it’s coming.
The show returned after three years on January 2nd, 2019 with Young Justice: Outsiders and we had the thirteen episodes roll out over the course of that month with three-episode blocks for most of it.
There’s a lot of potential for the back half of the season as there are hints of a reworked Judas Contract story in the works with it and more.
Plot Concept: DC’s teenage Super Heroes come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets as the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a global and galaxy-wide genetic arms race.
