Marvel Studios Sets ‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness’ With Scarlet Witch

1 min read

With the intent on being the first “scary” film set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios has announced Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. The film brings back Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role with Scott Derrickson returning to direct it. Derrickson has a solid scary film background but it’ll still be within the realm of PG-13, though that can definitely hit some good solid marks.

Interestingly, the events of the upcoming WandaVision Disney+ series are going to feed into this film and Elizabeth Olsen will be playing Scarlet Witch in the film.

Property Concept: Stephen Strange was a brilliant but arrogant neurosurgeon who, after a career-ending accident, discovers a world of sorcery, magic and world-bending dynamics that inevitably turns him into a superhero figure.
