The summer 2019 anime series A Certain Scientific Accelerator, a spinoff from the overall A Certain Magical Index franchise, is getting its home video release handled by NBC Universal Japan. They’ve set a pretty tight schedule for it as the twelve episode series is getting a three-volume release beginning on October 30th, 2019. The DVD sets are priced at 10,000 yen each while the Blu-ray sets are priced at 11,000 yen. Check the known schedule and artwork below!
Nobuharu Kamanaka is on board to direct based on the series composition by Kenji Sugihara. Yohei Yaegashi is handling the character design work with JC Staff producing the animation.

THE SIXTH LIE are performing the opening theme song “Shadow is the Light,” and sajou no hana are performing the ending theme song “Parole.”

Plot concept: Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator, which Accelerator is the main character. The events of the manga occur after his defeat at the hands of Kamijou Touma and the gunshot wound that he received at the hands of Amai Ao, though it is later revealed that the manga takes place prior to meeting Yomikawa Aiho.
