Third ‘Kabukicho Sherlock’ Anime Promo Debuts

Announced back in August 2018 with a tentative title of The Denizens of Kabuki-chō, Production I.G. previously revealed that it will go by the name of Kabukicho Sherlock.

Announced back in August 2018 with a tentative title of The Denizens of Kabuki-chō, Production I.G. previously revealed that it will go by the name of Kabukicho Sherlock. The series is now showing off the third promotional video ahead of its October 2019 debut as part of the fall season, clocking in at nearly two minutes again. This one works the ending theme song into it with “Hyakouku Konen” from Lozareena. The show has Ai Yoshimura directing it with Taku Kishimoto handling the scripting side. Toshiyuki Yahai is on board with the character designs and Production I.G. on the anime production.

The previously announced Japanese cast includes Katsuyuki Konishi as Sherlock, Yūichi Nakamura as John H. Watson, Seiichirō Yamashita as James Moriarty, Sōma Saitō as Fuyuto Kyogoku, Nao Tōyama as Mary Morstan, Mariko Higashiuchi as Lucy Morstan, Yutaka Aoyama as Michel Belmont, Tatsumaru Tachibana as Toratarō Kobayashi, and Junichi Suwabe as Mrs. Hudson.
