The spring 2019 anime adaptation of the Nobunaga Sensei no Osanazuma manga by Azure Konno has its home video releases now scheduled. The twelve episode series is getting released as two sets on June 28th and July 26th, 2019 and with the second set hitting in a few weeks we have a look at the cover artwork for it. The DVDs are priced at 5,400 yen while the Blu-rays are listed at 7,344 yen. It looks like the release comes with both the broadcast version and the uncensored version. Noriyoshi Sasaki is on board to direct based on the series composition by Arikura Arika. Takashi Nishikawa is handling the character designs with the animation studio Seven handling the production.
The Japanese cast includes Kōdai Sakai as Nobunaga Oda, Akari Uehara as Saitō Kichō, Ari Ozawa as Ikoma Kitsuno, Konomi Yūzaki as Mayu Biwajima, Marika Tanaka as Yuri Hoshigaoka, Moe Toyota as Anna Atsuta, and Suzuna Kinoshita as Ichika Oda.
The manga from Azure Konno began in 2017 and has three volumes out. Konno’s previous works include Koe de Oshigoto which got an OVA series in 2010.

Plot Concept: “One day, there’ll be a girl who’ll fall head over heels for me.” Nobunaga was a teacher who was waiting for that kind of dating sim event to happen in real life. One day, a 14-year-old girl named Kicho appears in front of him, saying that she’s his wife?! Apparently, she came from the Warring States era and seems to have mistaken Nobunaga for the Oda Nobunaga and tells him that she wants to have his children. An age-gap love comedy featuring a teacher with a dating sims brain and a princess with a warring states era brain!!
