The light novel series Hachinantte Sore wa Inai Deshō! revealed in December 2017 that it’s up on deck as getting an anime adaptation. Frontier Works previously revealed it’s planned for a 2020 TV debut but now the arrival of a new promo has netted us some new details. Tatsuo Miura is on board to direct it with Takeshi Miyamoto handling the series composition. Fuzichoco is listed as the original character designer with Keiji Tanabe adapting them and animation production handled by Shinei Animation and Synergy SP.

The series comes from writer Y.A. and artist Fuzichoco which began in 2013 and wrapped up in 2017 through the online side while print editions began in 2015 and will have fifteen volumes out as of this December 2018. A manga began in 2015 as well with Hiroki Kusumoto handling that which has five volumes out so far.

Plot Concept: The story revolves around Shingo Ichinomiya, a normal, average employee for a trading company. He wakes up one day to find himself inhabiting the body of Wendelin — a five-year-old boy, and the eighth son of a destitute noble family in a fantasy world.
