Viz Media hit up their first main panel at Anime Expo today and within it they announced five new manga series and two new art books that will be coming.

Viz Media hit up their first main panel at Anime Expo today and within it they announced five new manga series and two new art books that will be coming. Some are completed projects with no new material, others are ongoing. Some familiar, some classic, some very new. There aren’t a lot of details but check out the basics below and a look at the Japanese covers.

Prince Freya / Itsuwari no Freya: Keiko Ishihara – 2017 – 2 Volumes: In Tulle, a small county threatened by invasion, Freja lives in a small house by the countryside. Aaron and Alexis, two knights who left the kingdom three years before, return, and slowly the gear of fate begins to turn for Freja.

Love Me, Love Me Not / Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare: Io Sakisaka – 2015 – 12 Volumes Complete: The story centers around Yuna and Akari who have two very different views of love: Yuna is someone who sees love as a dream and Akari is someone who is very realistic about her romance choices. Meanwhile, there are two boys, Kazuomi and Rio, who also have different views of love: Kazuomi’s an airhead and doesn’t understand the concept of love while Rio grabs the opportunity when confessed to as long as the girl looks cute.

Downfall / Reiraku: Inio Asano – 2017 – 1 Volume Complete: This story will show the drifting soul of a lone manga artist whose heart has been used up.

Blue Flag / Ao no Flag: KAITO – 2017 – 6 Volumes: The “youth pure love” story begins when three students in their third and final year of high school meet during a time when they are worried about paths for their futures. Waiting for them are sweet, painful, and heartrending days.

Transformers: This collection of Generation 1 Transformers manga strips ran in TV Magazine in the 1980s and are being printed in the US for the first time.
