The fall 2018 anime series Bloom Into You delighted a lot of fans and got a number of people to check out the manga from Nio Nakatani. The seventh volume of the manga released in early April 2019 and it was revealed that the eighth volume coming up in November 2019 will be the final installment. At the time, no final chapter was set for it but we obviously knew it would be this year. Nakatani has now Tweeted about it by saying that in addition to the new chapter that’s just out, there are three chapters left, which will have it wrapped up in the late September 2019 installment. It’ll then be a short hop for the final volume to be released in early November.
The TV anime series saw Makoto Kato directing based on the scripts by Jukki Hanada. Hiroaki Gohda is handling the character designs with animation production at TROYCA.
The Japanese cast includes Yūki Takada as Yuu Koito, Minako Kotobuki as Touko Nanami, Ai Kayano as Sayaka Saeki, and Taichi Ichikawa as Seiji Maki.
The manga, which is available through Seven Seas Entertainment in English, began in 2015 and has seven volumes out so far in Japan.
