It’s been a bit since we saw an update for Hoshiai no Sora, aka Star-Crossing Skies, a series that’s slotted for an October 2019 premiere. The official site has now updated with two more actors for the show while also bringing out individual character designs and a pairing visual for Yūsuke Kobayashi as Nao Tsukinose and Kōhei Amasaki as Taiyō Ishigami.
The series comes from Kazuki Akane and we now have a new key visual released for it as well below. It’s being produced with studio 8-Bit as a new original work with Kazuki Akane directing it and writing the scripts while Yuichi Takahashi is working on the character designs based on Itsuka’s original work. Takahashi is also serving as the animation director for the project as well.

Magumi Nakajima has signed on to perform her song “Suiso” which translates as Aquarium as the opening theme song.
Plot Concept: The series deals with the coming-of-age of boys in a junior high school’s soft tennis team, which is on the verge of shutting down.
