The cuteness nears the end of its run with this season and I’m still enjoying these little glimpses of levity. The opening tale gives us some time with Rin as she talks about road biking and how it’s made her a better person and as she tries to get another of the girls, Takumi, to join her “beyond the wind” but Takumi is still too young. It’s one of those cute moments that solidifies how well some of them can get totally under the skin of others. With the second tale, we get Kirari and Karen together with Anya trying to keep up as they race across the sandy dunes. It’s a nice little relaxed bit as it spends most of its time with Anya as she trails behind and gets all philosophical about it in a nice way, mixing in a little Russian too.

In Summary:
With the final story, Hina’s helping Ranko with her work a little and showing her how to respond better to requests, something that an elder can do. Of course, Hina’s doing it with a bit of a goal of her own in mind and it’s cute as she needs some of Ranko’s abilities for her own works. Seeing Hina going so serious and over the top is cutely comical as is Ranko’s reactions. The three tales do a nice job of working between various characters and configurations without too much of a central theme to it, which works just as well as the more tightly plotted stories.
