While Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has been out and available for awhile in North America, the film is getting ready for its release on August 7th, 2019 in Japan (with a digital release coming up at the end of this month). Ahead of that, it looks like the home video side will have a neat bonus with an illustration card done by One-Punch Man mangaka Yusuke Murata. That’s been tweeted out and shows off a manga series I’d love to see produced.
Directed by Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey, it comes from a screenplay by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The cast for it includes Shameik Moore as Miles Morales / Spider-Man, Liev Schreiber, Mahershala Ali as Aaron Davis / Prowler, and Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davi.
Plot Concept: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
