With this episode, we focus on Ren as she heads to work where she has a specific type of tighs that she likes to wear as part of her uniform. It’s your standard cafe outfit when you get down to it with nothing cosplay about it, but the appeal of a short skirt and the tights is definitely there and the boys are all over it. It’s got its “bigger” moments where she puts them on but we also see her just working hard and doing right by customers. Of course, the camera follows her in a teasing and tantalizing way with its focus but we also learn along the way that this quiet little cafe wasn’t quiet once Ren started working as there are a lot of young men coming to just admire her.
In Summary:
I can’t say I go into this show with low expectations because I have high expectations of its quality of animation and detail to the tights. But I don’t expect a rich story. What we do get are nice little vignettes of the characters at different parts of their days and lives at this age and some of the ways that their tights are a big part of it. Ren’s story is a nice one here that plays out well as she works hard and treats her customers well, even if some of them are there just to ogle her. It’s not hard to understand why considering just how good the tights look.
