Originating as a stage play, Rusted Armors is making the leap to the anime side with a project now announced as in the works. Details are slim on it at the moment but Taiki Sato will reprise is role of Magoichi for it from the stage play while Toshiki Masuda will do the same as Oda Nobunaga.
The stage plays began in 2017 with the second one launching recently. A manga adaptation of the stage play began earlier this year from hagi and serialized by Monthly Comic Gene.

Property Concept: The project focuses on the relationship between the gun-toting Magoichi — who is the leader of the Saika Ikki mercenary group — and the Sengoku era warlord Oda Nobunaga.
