We learned last fall that an anime adaptation of the light novels for Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks? is in the works. Set for a July 2019 debut as part of the summer season, the official site has updated with the premiere date of July 12th, 2019 being set as you can see through the Tweet below. The series will be directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki based on the series composition by Deko Akao. Yohei Yaegashi is working on the character designs with JC Staff handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Haruki Ishiya as Masato Osuki, Ai Kayano as Mamako Osuki, Sayumi Suzushiro as Wise, Sayaka Harada as Porta, Lynn as Medhi, and Satomi Arai as Shirase

The anime is based on the light novels by Dachima Inaka which began in 2017 and has six volumes out so far in Japan. Yen Press is starting the release of the novels in November 2018. A manga adaptation was launched in the fall of 2017 from Maitya which has one volume out so far.

Plot Concept: Masato thought he was part of a random survey, but when he gets involved in a secret government scheme, he winds up trapped in the game world. Even more surprising—his mother’s there, too!
