One of my favorite series of the past decade is the Nichijou – My Ordinary Life series and it’s pretty much my go-to meme generator as well. We learned a couple of months ago that the property, which was a rescue from the Bandai Entertainment catalog that never got a release before, would be getting a dub for it. That was a surprise both because of the age of the title and the length of it, but unique dubs are driving viewers to streaming sites and having something like this will definitely stand out.

With the series scheduled for a new Blu-ray release on July 23rd, 2019, we’ve had a week of getting to see some of the main characters getting individual character promos with their voice actors being revealed. Now, Funimation has rolled out the overall trailer that brings it together and reminds you to get your preorder in!

The previously revealed casting includes Monica Rial as Nano Shinonome, Jad Saxton as Hakase Shinonome, Morgan Garrett as Yuuko, Brittany Lauda as Mai, and Leah Clark as Mio. Sample the performances below!

Check out our review of the series.

The manga property spawned an anime adaptation that was simulcast by Crunchyroll and briefly licensed by Bandai Entertainment before they closed up shop, effectively placing a hold on the property.

Plot concept: From the creators of K-On! and Lucky Star comes a slice-of-life series packed with absurd antics and hilarious high school predicaments. Follow the adventures of three ordinary girls as they make life’s awkward moments a thousand times worse. Along with a colorful bunch of classmates, they learn their most important lessons the hard way. Like whether goats are an appropriate form of transportation, who would win in a wrestling match between the principal and a deer, and most notably, if the three-second rule applies to weenies that fly through mohawks. Meanwhile down the street, a pocket-sized professor makes life difficult for a robot who just wants to be normal. But normal is the last thing you can expect in a town where salmon fall from the sky. In fact, the only thing you can count on is your friends, but even they are totally weird.
