‘The Kitchen’ Feature Film Adaptation Gets First Trailer

The film deals with three mob wives in Hell’s Kitchen in the 1970s who take over the city's criminal empire when their husbands are sent down by the FBI.

Based on the Vertigo Comics series The Kitchen by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle, the feature film adaptation has brought out its first trailer and poster today. The film is set for an August 9th, 2019 release in North America as directed by Andrea Berloff, marking her directorial debut. Distributed by Warner Bros. for New Line Pictures, it as developed in 2017 and filmed in the summer of 2018.

The film stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, Elisabeth Moss, Domhnall Gleeson, James Badge Dale, Brian d’Arcy James, Margo Martindale, and Bill Camp.
