The latest digital manga sale from Viz Media has gotten underway on ComiXology with Food Wars! now taking a spot. The series comes from Yuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki that began in 2012 and has thirty-four volumes out so far in Japan. Viz Media has been bringing it over here while the anime has been coming out with a couple of well-received seasons so far. They’ve brought out twenty-eight volumes so far and those are now on sale on ComiXology and Amazon where they’re priced at $4.99 per volume, which is half off the print price and a few bucks off the backlist pricing of the existing volumes.
The sale runs through midnight June 3rd, 2019.
Plot concept: Soma Yukihira’s old man runs a small family restaurant in the less savory end of town.
