The fall 2018 anime adaptation of Kumo Kagyu’s property Goblin Slayer revealed in March 2019 that an OVA is being produced for it that will get released in theaters in limited form as Goblin Slayer -Goblin’s Crown-. The book publishing side of the property has now brought out a new trailer that confirms that the staff and cast are returning, as expected, and that the OVA is being planned for a 2020 theatrical debut. The trailer clocks in at about 70-seconds and shows off some pretty appealing material.

The series is directed by Takaharu Ozaki based on the series composition by Hideyuki Kurata. Takashi Nagayoshi is handling the character designs while White Fox is working the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Yuichiro Umehara as Goblin Slayer, Yui Ogura as Priestess, Nao Tōyama as High Elf Archer, Yuka Iguchi as Cow Girl, Maaya Uchida as Guild Girl, Yūichi Nakamura as Dwarf Shaman, Tomokazu Sugita as Lizard Priest, Yōko Hikasa as Witch, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Spearman.

The light novels from Kumo Kagyu began in 2016 with ten volumes out as of March 2019. A manga adaptation by Kosuke Kurose began in 2016 as well with Yen Press releasing both of them in North America.
