The fall 2015 anime series Dance with Devils finished its run on home video back in 2016 but Avex Pictures is doing their best to keep it in the mindshare a bit for fans or casual interest folks. The distributor recently set a complete box set that includes the twelve episode TV series plus the movie which will land on March 29th, 2019 priced at 29,800 yen which was then delayed to a May 31st, 2019 release date. Now, we’ve got a look at the packaging and cover for the set which looks pretty great. Originally listed as four discs, it’s set as five discs and it looks like in addition to the TV series and film, the musical is included with three performances on its own disc.
The show originally received limited editions for both formats with the DVDs priced at 6,000 yen and the Blu-rays at 7,000 yen.
The TV animation project was directed by Ai Yoshimura based on scripts and composition by Tomoko Konparu while Hirotaka Maeda from Rejet worked on the original character designs and Yuka Takashina adapting them into anime form.
The cast includes Sōma Saitō as Rem Kaginuki, Wataru Hatano as Lind Tachibana, Takashi Kondo as Urie Sogami, Subaru Kimura as Mage Nanashiro and Daisuke Hirakawa as Shiki Natsumezaka.
Plot concept: The series focuses on Rikka Tachibana, a female second-year high school student who attends Shiko Academy in Shiko Town. She enjoyed her school life while living with her mother Maria, but one day, that balance fell into ruin. The anime is a story of Rikka being loved and being attracted to demons.
