What They Say:
Bouida Haruto is a hardcore otaku who has no interest in 3D (real) girls. One day, he bought a figure of his favorite anime heroine, Nona, but then suddenly, Nona started to move! The frenzied married life between one otaku and one robot (?) is about to start!

A cold open with the pint-sized ladies bathing each other and getting into some trouble? The series continues to hit all the bullet points of a standard show in a lot of ways. Though still far too long for my tastes, there are definitely amusing bits to have within the larger framework, especially as it expands into other characters and builds up a decent sized ensemble of familiar types – especially for the figure-girls. It’s a harmless show in general with nothing too serious to say so you can enjoy it easily, especially with all the costume changes.

The main complication early on is that Bellnoa is trying to find her place here and frustrated by learning that Bouida and Nona are married. She’d been keen on him herself, as one would expect, and is embarrassed and frustrated by the event that played out. Combine that with her previous “life” now gone and no longer a hero, she’s at a crossroads in figuring out her place. All of this basically serves to push Nona and Bellnoa into a new round of competition in trying to be the right one with Bouida and that has its moments as they “Battle” in creative ways. But the given is that Bouida just gets frustrated with it all because of how constant it is and you get every standard cliche here, even with Nona attempting to one-up Bellnoa by kissing Bouida.

In Summary:
The show spends most of its time on the rivalry side of things and it has its moments. I do like how Bellnoa grapples with everything and feels sad by the turn of events that have unfolded and trie to figure out where her place is in everything. This episode doesn’t go for a clear split in stories and that works to its advantage to some degree and I like how both main girls are trying to ensure their own place and position in the grand scheme of everything here. But it is just still more drawn out than it needs to be and could be just as effective at half the running time.
