The third season of My Hero Academia is getting its home video release handled by Funimation and they’re now getting some of their promotion underway for it. The first part was released with a May 7th, 2019 debut where that was a regular edition and a limited edition release. Funimation has now put together a lengthy eight-minute unboxing that involves senior brand manager Paul Fruge II and graphic designer Stephanie Hinyub to talk about it and show off all the delicious details about it.
The limited edition looks pretty slick as it’ll come with a heavy chipboard box to hold the two parts for it, a 60-page art book, a chibi Bakugo keychain, acrylic standees, and 10 holographic cards. On-disc extras include an interview with Daiki Yamashita and Yuki Hayashi, more of the Inside the Episode pieces, and dub outtakes with more to be listed.

In a world full of heroes, he’s Quirkless. Crushed, but not down for the count, this superhero-fanboy dedicates his time to studying the pros in hopes that he, too, can join a prestigious high school for heroes. In the face of despair, Deku’s courage catches the eye of his ultimate idol, the symbol of justice known as All Might! With special training from the big guy himself, Deku and the talented first-years of the academy may finally have a shot at achieving their dreams. But these amateurs are put to the test of a lifetime when routine training becomes a battle against real villains!
