The anime adaptation for the Isekai Cheat Magician novels from Takeru Uchida is moving right along and a key piece of information has landed. We didn’t know what season the show was being prepped for but now the official site has set a July 2019 debut. And to make it extra special, they also revealed Yuriko Kubo as Airy, giving us a good look at her design.

Daisuki Tsukushi is directing based on the scripts by Takayo Ikami. Shuji Maruyama is handling the character designs while Encourage Films is working on animation production.

The cast so far includes Kohei Amasaki as Taichi Nishimura, Rie Takahashi as Rin Azuma, Minami Tanaka as Myura, and Sayaka Ohara as Remia.

The novels began in 2012 by Takeru Uchida with Nardack handling the illustrations for it. There are eight volumes out as of 2018. A manga adaptation began in 2012 with five volumes out as of March 2019 from Karin Suzuragi.

Check out the official site and Twitter.

Plot Concept: The series focuses on Taichi Nishimura and his friend Rin, who both get transported into a fantasy world. While in their previous world, Taichi is a normal person who just has higher than average reflexes, both he and Rin gain high levels of physical and magical ability, and begin their new life as magicians.
