1 min read

With the light novel series in hand from  Yūri Shibamura and Yoshinori Shizuma, J-Novel Club has now picked up the rights to the manga for Marginal Operation. This adaptation stands on its own a fair bit with story from Shibamura and artwork from Daisuke Kimura. The manga began in 2013 and has twelve volumes produced so far. The light novel itself goes back to 2012 and has five volumes in its original run and six in its second run.

Plot Concept: Our hero Ryouta Arata is an otaku who’s just lost his job after the dissolution of his company. Unwilling to return to his old NEET ways, he applies online to a private military security company, thinking the benefits to be promising. After what appears to be a baffling test, he’s assigned to be an \”operator of operators\” and begins his training in a foreign country. Little does he know, the life of a private mercenary is far more grueling than he could have ever imagined!
